For the 2018 edition of the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition in November 2018 the jury chaired by Renaud Capuçon will have to judge the performances of 49 violinists from 15 nationalities: Armenia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Japan, Latvia, South Korea, Turkey, United States of America, Ukraine. From the 49 an overwhelming group of 17 come from Japan, nine from France and four from South Korea and the US.
