British cellist Steven Isserlis is the winner of the Cremona Musica Award 2023. Isserlis is honored for his outstanding contribution to the interpretation of the cello repertoire: “The Cremona Musica Award has been conferred on Steven Isserlis for his sensitive and passionate interpretations, and for his unceasing dedication to the art of music. His discography is an example and a model for many young musicians who are inspired and enlightened by him”.
The award ceremony with Steven Isserlis will take place at Cremona Musica on Sunday 24 September in the Sala Guarneri.
