The Londontowne Symphony Orchestra, founded in 2003, has rebranded as the Naptown Philharmonic Orchestra. This name change honors Annapolis’ nickname and signals a renewed community focus.
The Naptown Philharmonic strives to perform five concerts each season, with at least one of those geared specifically toward young people. Under the direction of Anna Binneweg since 2007, the orchestra includes professionals, military musicians, private/public school teachers, extraordinary amateurs, and students.
