Luxembourg’s creative talent will be showcased in Osaka in a variety of ways, allowing visitors to discover the skills and talents of the country’s creative scene.
Claude Zeimes (*1983) was selected following a call for submissions in partnership with FLAC (Fédération luxembourgeoise des auteurs et compositeurs). His musical composition will accompany the scenography throughout the Pavilion, creating a sonic identity in line with the Doki Doki leitmotif.
On April 14, for the opening of the Luxembourg Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, an exceptional musical event will bring together two choirs: the Pueri Cantores boys’ choir of the Conservatoire de Luxembourg and the choir of the Ritsumeikan School in Kyoto. This unique musical and cultural encounter will bring together 90 young singers who will lend their voices to a rich and varied repertoire combining tradition and modernity.
On May 30, 2025, the Echoes of Tomorrow concert will bring together Francesco Tristano, Maika Fujii, Jill Crovisier and Pascal Schumacher.
Schumacher’s contemporary explorations of the vibraphone respond to Tristano’s signature blend of acoustic piano and electronic synthesizers, while the dancers create a visual dialogue that reflects the interplay of sound and movement. Together, the four artists are supposed to create a sensory experience that is both universal and intimate.
