The African Asia Pacific Choir Games are set to take place on the tropical island of Mauritius from September 27-October 5, 2025! This will be the first time the Games will be held in Mauritius, and they are expected to attract choirs from all over Africa and Asia, but also from the rest of the world.
Along with the choir competitions for singers from the African and Asia Pacific regions, a Grand Prix of Nations will be held at the same time allowing choirs from all over the world to participate.
Mauritius is an outstanding host for the event, not only as a destination, but singers can also look forward to sing at wonderful concert venues: As an example, the Port Louis Old Theatre, the oldest Opera Theatre in the Southern Hemisphere, was built in 1822 and is currently being renovated in time for the 2025 event! The Caudan Arts Centre, a landmark arts and conference venue in Mauritius and located on the beautiful Port Louis waterfront and also the Mahatma Gandhi auditorium will further be available for choral performances and concerts. The major events like the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will happen in the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex.
