Countertenor David Daniels is taking a leave of absence as a professor at the University of Michigan, following the public allegations of rape. David Daniels has been accused of drugging and raping singer Samuel Schultz in Houston in 2010, after a performance at the Houston Grand Opera. His husband, conductor Scott Walters, is also accused.
