Polish conductor Agnieszka Duczmal, 76, said farewell to the Amadeus Orchestra of the Polish Radio during a special concert, this weekend in Poznan. The conductor founded the orchestra in 1968 and served as music director for 56 years. She will now be succeeded in that position by her daughter, Ann Duczmal-Mroz.
