South Korean violinist Yoo Na Ha, 25, from has been awarded First Prize at the 2016 Mirecourt International Violin Competition in Mirecourt, France. A graduate of the National University of Seoul and the Paris National Conservatoire, Yoo Na is a former First Prize winner at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition. In Mirecourt she also won Special Prize for the best personality and Special Prize Durand-Salabert-Eschig for the best French sonata during the semi-final.
Second Prize went to Carla Ines Marrero Martinez, 22, from Spain who won also the Prize of the orchestra 3rd and 4th prizes were awarded to 24 years-old Eimi Wakui from Japan and 15 years-old Hana Wakamatsu from Japan who took the Prize of the audience.
