Andrea Battistoni
The Teatro Regio di Torino has announced the appointment of Andrea Battistoni (*1987) as Music Director. He will officially take office on 1st January 2025, with a mandate that will span the next two seasons.
Battistoni was Principal Guest Conductor at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa from 2014 to 2016 and Chief Conductor from 2017 to 2019. Since 2016, he has held this position with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
