Der britische Dirigent Robin Ticciati hat als Erster Gastdirigent der Bamberger Symphoniker Beachtliches geleistet. Davon zeugen heute seine Schallplattenaufnahmen. Dvoraks Neunte Symphonie ist ein Modell kongenialen Musizierens. Ticciati hat das Orchester fest im Griff und formt den Klang, indem er mit viel Rubato, exquisiten Färbungen und durchaus persönlichen Akzenten in diesem tausend Mal gehörten Werk kontinuierlich die Ohren des Zuhörers wach hält. The 23 years old Russian violinist Yury Revich - he is based in Vienna - is ICMA's Young Artist of the Year 2015. Having performed at Carnegie Hall and at La Scala, Musikverein, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and many others, he has his own concert series in Vienna, he is Artistic Director of the European-Russian Society for International Cooperation, he made some successful recordings and lives out his creativity also in filming and painting.

Adam Fischer
Private donations and crowd funding were successful: the Danish National Chamber Orchestra, which was disbanded at the end of last year by the Danish Radio Corporation, has raised in a very short time enough money – more than 400.000 Euro – to bring the orchestra back on the podium. The orchestra’s chief conductor Adam Fischer will conduct the first benefit concert on 1 February. The orchestra will take a slightly shorter name: Danish Chamber Orchestra.
