Brilliant Classics übernimmt ein attraktives Programm, das vormals bei NM Classics erschien und eine Präsenz auf dem Markt durchaus verdient. Es beginnt mit der anfangs etwas geschwollen-pathetischen, dann aber schnell sehr dynamischen und gefälligen Konzertouvertüre von Johannes Bernardus van Bree (1801-1857). The British conductor Edward Gardner, 49, has extended his contract as Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra for a further two years. He took the position in 2021 and is also Music Director of the Norwegian Opera and Ballet and honorary conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.
