Der 1950 in New Orleans geborene, aber eng mit Florida verbundene Komponist John D. Gottsch ist als naturliebender Mensch bekannt, was sich auch in seinem musikalischen Schaffen bemerkbar macht. So ist seine symphonische Dichtung Sunset eine musikalische Reflektion über Key West und die Anfälligkeit der Gegend für den Klimawandel. Ferdinand Hiller (1811-1885) war lange Städtischer Musikdirektor in Köln und galt in dieser Zeit als sehr einflussreiche Musikerpersönlichkeit. ICMA and the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein presented a spectacular Award Ceremony Gala on Sunday 27 June at the Vaduzersaal in Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
