Simon Rattle hat Janaceks Opernfabel Das schlaue Füchslein schon 2003 aufgenommen. Im Gegensatz zu der damaligen, sehr frischen und lebendigen Aufnahme ist die Neueinspielung ein wunderbares Zeugnis von der Reife des Dirigenten. After the Dutch government announced new measures against the spread of the coronavirus, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (and most of the Dutch halls) will remain closed for the next weeks. On its website the Concertgebouw says: « One of those measures means that a maximum of 30 people may come together. Organizing concerts for just 30 visitors is not possible for The Concertgebouw. As a result, we are unfortunately forced to cancel all planned concerts up to and including Tuesday, November 10. »
