The Bavarian State Library (BSB) as one of the largest research libraries in Europe is now adding copies of Pizzicato’s Internet site to its digital long-term archive at regular intervals. Archival copies will be permanently stored, indexed in the catalogue, and made available for open access. Further long-term preservation measures will be carried out if necessary (as for example format migration into newer formats). Pizzicato editor Remy Francks says: « We are honoured by this collaboration with Bayerische Staatsbibliothek and thankful for their recognition. »
