Ben Glassberg
The Rouen Opera announces the appointment of British conductor Ben Glassberg, 25, for a 3-year term starting from the 2020/2021 season. Graduated in music at Cambridge, trained in orchestral conducting at the Royal Academy of London, Ben Glassberg won in 2017 the Grand Prix, the Audience Award and the Orchestra Award at the 55th International Competition for Young Conductors in Besançon.
Currently Principal Conductor of the Glyndebourne Touring Opera and Associate Guest Conductor with the Orchestre National de Lyon, Ben Glassberg conducted the orchestra in Rouen for the first time in December 2018.
