Jean-Claude Casadesus and his ‘Orchestre National de Lille’ have been the first European Orchestra to be invited to Kazakhstan. The played two concerts and the Opera Abaï in Almaty (the former capital) and at the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall in Astana. 5000 people attended the concerts. The Orchestra is already invited again for 2017.
