Der an einer neurologischen Krankheit leidende Pianist und Dirigent Daniel Barenboim hofft schon bald so weit genesen zu sein, dass er seine Aufgaben wieder wahrnehmen könne, hieß es von Seiten seines Managements auf Anfrage der Agentur dpa. Einen Zeitplan dafür gebe es allerdings noch nicht. Barenboim, der am 15. November 80 Jahre alt wird, hatte am 5. Oktober per seinen vorläufigen Rückzug von der Bühne angekündigt.
