Leonard Slatkin

The Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria (OFGC) has extended the contract of its chief conductor and artistic director, the British Karel Mark Chichon, until 2025. Chichon is in this position since 2017. The orchestra also has appointed the American conductor Leonard Slatkin, 77, as principal guest conductor for the next three seasons.
