Outhere Music Group has announced the acquisition of the catalog of Analekta, Canada’s leading independent label. Founded 35 years ago in Montreal by Mario Labbé, Analekta has over 600 titles in its catalog and has recorded with more than 200 musicians. Long distributed by Outhere, this acquisition marks the first foray into the Americas for the Belgian group founded in 2004 by Charles Adriaenssen, which includes Alpha Classics, Arcana, Channel Classics, Eloquentia, Fuga Libera, ICA Classics, Linn Records, Muso, Outnote Records, Phi, Ramée and Ricercar.

2016 noch wollte Russlands Diktator und Kriegstreiber Putin Sergei Rachmaninovs Villa in der Schweiz kaufen. Das ist ihm nicht gelungen. Gelobt seien die, die es verhinderten. Anfang April wurden das Anwesen und die Villa Senar am Vierwaldstättersee sowie das darin enthaltene Inventar und Archiv in den Besitz des Kantons Luzern überführt.
