The last piano on which Frederic Chopin played and composed is currently renovated by Paul McNulty at the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, Poland, the agency AP reports. The Pleyel with serial number 14810 was made available to Chopin in the fall of 1848. Paul McNulty is said to be filling in some cracks in the soundboard and putting in wire strings like the ones used by Pleyel.
