On 1 October, Russia will launch the first Russian TV channel about classical music – Classic Music. The channel will broadcast programs with recordings of works filmed both in Russia and in other countries, the management says.  The channel is being launched by Universal Distribution, which previously distributed the Mezzo and Mezzo Live HD music channels.

Da Gastspiele wieder möglich sind und dann noch ein Doppelgastspiel des London Symphony Orchestra unter Simon Rattle, beim ersten mit dem Sopransolo von Magdalena Kozena, ist ein weiteres Zeichen für eine weitere Normalisierung der Situation. Man wird wohl annehmen dürfen, dass die Musiker eher Opfer als Befürworter des Brexit sind und selber genug nicht nur unter der Pandemie, sondern auch der Exitkrankheit leiden. Obwohl im ersten Konzert die Lücken im Auditorium größer schienen als nur pandemiebedingt, war der Saal gefüllt.
