The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announced the six-year extension of Manfred Honeck’s contract as Music Director of the Pittsburgh Symphony, running through the 2027-2028 season. Honeck, 63, was named the Pittsburgh Symphony’s ninth Music Director in 2008.
