The Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival has been cancelled: « With great regret and after much deliberation, we have reached the difficult decision to cancel this year’s festival due to the current security situation. » The festival run by Elena Bashkirova was to feature musicians like Thomas E. Bauer, Dietrich Henschel, Thomas Hampson, Astrig Siranossian, Georgijs Osokins, Pablo Barragán and Igor Levit.

The vocal finale of the 7th Vienna International Music Festival recently took place in the Brahms Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna. The event, organized by the Academy of Music and Music Education, attracted numerous talented singers. Among the 32 finalists, the Luxembourgish dramatic soprano Lynn Feyereisen stood out in particular. For her impressive performance of the main arias from Puccini’s operas Madame Butterfly and Tosca, she was honored with the Silver Award by the six-member jury.
