Das Takacs Quartett gastierte nach zehn Jahren wieder in der Philharmonie Luxembourg Das Takacs Quartett gastierte im Oktober 2011, damals noch mit anderer Besetzung, in der Luxemburger Philharmonie. Der XXII. Internationale Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Wettbewerb Leipzig 2020/2021 wurde abgesagt. Der Wettbewerb sollte ursprünglich letztes Jahr vom 13. bis 25. Juli 2020 stattfinden. Pandemie-bedingt wurde die Austragung nach der Vorauswahl auf den Juli 2021 verschoben. Aufgrund der weiterhin bestehenden pandemischen Situation sei eine Durchführung auch in diesem Sommer nicht möglich, teilt das Bach-Archiv mit.

The Concours Musical International de Montréal has announced the winners of its 2021 Piano Edition. First Prize was awarded to South Korean Pianist Su Yeon Kim, who will collect awards and scholarships valued at over $180,000, an unprecedented total sum for the CMIM.
