Polish pianist Tomasz Ritter, 23, has won First Prize of the First International Chopin Competition on Historical Instruments in Warsaw. Second Prize was shared by Polish pianist Aleksandra Swigut and Japanese pianist Naruhiko Kawaguchi, while Third Prize went to another Pole, Krzysztof Ksiazek, who also received a special award for best interpretation of a Chopin mazurka.

Das ist eine erneute Steigerung der Besucherzahlen, die letztes Jahr bei 78.600 lagen.
