During an auction of manuscripts from the Aristophil collection at Drouot in Paris, the original score of Henri Dutilleux’s Métaboles has been acquired by the National Library of France (BNF) for a price of 143,000 euros, a press release says. Christoph Eschenbach wird neuer Chefdirigent des Konzerthausorchesters Berlin. Nachdem das bereits im November letzten Jahres bekannt gemacht worden war, hat der 78-jährige Dirigent am gestrigen Mittwoch seinen Vertrag unterzeichnet. Als Nachfolger des bisherigen Chefdirigenten Ivan Fischer wird er die Position für zunächst drei Jahre ab der Spielzeit 2019/20 innehaben. Mit ihm will das Konzerthaus im Jahr 2021 seinen 200.
