Second prize went to tenor Giovanni Sebastiano Sala from Italy, and Third prize to Belarussian bass Alexander Roslavets. German composer Wilhelm Killmayer has died on Sunday, 20 August, one day before his 90th birthday. Killmayer studied conducting and composition from 1945 to 1951 in Munich.
