18-year-old Japanese violinist Ayana Tsuji has been awarded the first prize at the 2016 Montreal International Musical Competition. Der Komponist Aribert Reimann erhält in diesem Jahr den Robert Schumann-Preis für Dichtung und Musik der Mainzer Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur.
