Warsaw’s Central Station will be named after 19th century composer Stanislaw Moniuszko, Radio dla Ciebie reported. The official name-giving ceremony is to be held on January 5.
Earlier this month, the Polish Senate unanimously adopted a resolution to declare 2019 the Year of Stanislaw Moniuszko, as Poland is commemorating the bicentenary of the composer’s birth.
Warsaw’s airport is named after Chopin.
