Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels announces the appointment of Grégor Chapelle as its new CEO. He will take up his post on April 29. A graduate in law from UCL and in public affairs from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Grégor Chapelle will succeed Bernard de Launoit, who directed the institution for almost 20 years, transforming it into an institution that radiates throughout the world, under the unconditional banner of musical excellence.
Grégor Chapelle declares: « I wish to add my stone to the edifice transcended by Bernard de Launoit, along with all those he inspired with his enthusiasm. My motivation is rooted in my desire to serve beauty, to work as a team and to continue building a haven of peace. I believe deeply in music as a tool for well-being and social inclusion, but also as an ideal: music as a universal language of peace and a language of hope for the planet. »
