Australian media report on a so called comeback tour by Chinese pianist Li Yundi, 41, two years after he was blacklisted in China for allegedly hiring a prostitute. Even in China the public was questioning whether the censuring of Li, who was utterly discredited after he was accused of soliciting a sex worker, was reasonable. The South China Morning Post wrote: « But now people are asking if the crime deserved the shame, and if the police crossed a line by making it public ».
According to Australian critics, Li’s concerts ware excellent and he experienced a huge success.
