Moye Chen, a native from Beijing, who studied in Shanghai, at the Oberlin Conservatory and at the University of Illinois, is the Gold Medalist of this year’s World Piano Competition in Cincinnati. No Silver Medal was awarded, however there are two Bronze Medalists: Feng Bian, born in 1988, in China, currently studying at the Yale School of Music, and
Reed Tetzloff, a fourth-year undergraduate at Mannes College.
