Victoria Symphony (British Columbia, Canada) has extended the tenure of Christian Kluxen as Music Director until 2028. He is in this position since eight years.
Born in Copenhagen in 1981 to Danish-German parents, Kluxen is currently in his second season as Principal Guest Conductor of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra in Finland, who have also recently renewed his position for a further season, He had a five-year tenure as Chief Conductor of the Arctic Philharmonic in Norway.
