Myung-Whun Chung
Korean conductor Myung-whun Chung has cancelled performances in Italy after going into home quarantine in France upon returning from a trip to Tokyo, the Korean Herald reports. Chung was to conduct the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence next Saturday. It remains unclear whether Chung’s cancellation is really the fear of having been infected in Japan or the fear of being infected in Italy.
