Germaine Tailleferre
A tram station on the new line 9 from Porte de Choisy in Paris to Orly Ville and later to Orly Airport will be called after French composer Germaine Tailleferre (1892-1983). The station will be located in Ivry-sur-Seine. Politicians speak about this project since 2010, the construction will finally begin in 2017 and the tram should be fully operational in 2020. Germaine Tailleferre was the only female member of the group of composers known as Les Six.
