Britsih composer Juliana Hodkinson (*1971) is awarded the Carl Nielsen Price. The Berlin-based composer is the first non-Danish to receive this award. Other winners are the Danish composer John Frandsen, who is especially honoured for his 2013 premiered Requiem, and the cellist Andreas Brantelid.
