French composer Karol Beffa was awarded the Grand Prix France Musique des Muses at the Paris Book Fair for his biography of György Ligeti published by Fayard. Three other authors received an award: Karine Le Bail for her work La musique au pas – être musicien sous l’occupation (CNRS Editions), Claude Abromont for La symphonie fantastique (Editions Philharmonie de Paris), as well as Agnès Desarthe and René Urtreger for Le Roi René (Odile Jacob).
