The conductor’s epidemic, which we reported about yesterday, is spreading out. The London Symphony communicates: « Michael Tilson Thomas is unwell and has been advised not to fly to Finland » for an LSO concert in Lahti today. MTT fell ill in Denmark where the orchestra performed before its concert in Finland. The Lahti concert will be conducted by Dima Slobodeniouk, Principal Conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra.
The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra announced that « Juraj Valcuha is indisposed and unfortunately is unable to conduct » a concert on June 15. He will be replaced by Marzena Diakun.
