By cutting subventions, the City of Cordoba and the Andalusian government bring the Cordoba Orchestra in a critical situation. The orchestra, one of the most recognized in Spain, is suffering economically because of budgetary cuts of almost 40%.
The musicians launched a petition, writing: « With your signatures we hope that the town hall of Cordoba and the Andalusian government will dialogue and find a solution to guarantee the orchestra’s continuation in its dedication to culture and education as ambassadors to its city, province, state and country. »
