The musicians of the Royal Opera in Copenhagen have accepted a pay cut of 10% in order to avoid the dismissal of a certain number of the by now 104 musicians. Also, more flexible working times have been agreed. The Danish Government has cut the funding of the opera house by 2%, which corresponds to about 6.7 million € for the period 2016-2019.
