The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (Indiana, U.S.) announced the appointment of David Commanday as Music Director. His contract is effective right away through the 2024-2025 season.
Commanday currently serves as Artistic Director/Conductor of the Heartland Festival Orchestra (HFO) as well as Director of Orchestral Activities and Instructor of Cello at Eastern Illinois University.
