Duo Rosa
Luxembourgish-Belgian Duo Rosa (soprano Stephany Ortega and pianist Léna Kollmeier) launches today a CD with the title ‘Return’ published by the label Et’cetera. For Ortega, born in the Dominican Republic, this CD is a journey from Luxembourg back to her roots. The program begins with a work by the Luxemburgish composer Camille Kerger, and comprises melodies from France, Spain and Latin America, by Saint-Saëns, Fauré, Duparc, Debussy, Granados, Obradors, Rodrigo, de Falla, Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos …
Following the CD release, Duo Rosa will present the program on a world tour with concerts at the Monnaie in Brussels, in Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, at New York’s Carnegie Hall and at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Santo Domingo.
