Es wird zweifellos Leute geben, die diese Piazzolla-SACD mögen. Sie ist brillant und spektakulär. Und sowas kommt an. Mir persönlich gefällt sie überhaupt nicht. Zu recherchiert, manieriert, effekthascherisch und für meinen Geschmack direkt kitschig ist das Musizieren der als Geigerin und Dirigentin auftretenden kanadischen Musikerin Karen Gomyo. Piazzolla kann ich in dieser guten Stunde Musik keinen hören.
There will undoubtedly be people who like this Piazzolla SACD. It is brilliant and spectacular. And that kind of thing goes down well. Personally, I don’t like it at all. The music-making of the Canadian musician Karen Gomyo, who appears as violinist and conductor, is too researched, mannered, gimmicky and for my taste directly kitschy. I can’t hear any Piazzolla in this good hour of music.
