In 2012/13, 205.000 people attended 132 performances of the English National Opera (ENO), 9% more then in 2011/12. At the same time, Box office income grow by 18% to £9.7 million, with sponsorship increasing from £3.5 million to £6 million. This good result allowed a surplus of £2.7 million, compared to a deficit of £2.2 million the previous year.
