An events company at Powderham Castle, near Exeter, Devon, has cancelled several events, among them a concert on Sunday 30 July, which was to be played by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
The insolvent organiser, Stephen G Associates Ltd, ceased trading after going into liquidation.
« The circumstances in which the concert has been cancelled are out of the BSO’s control, the concert was being managed by an external promoter », the BSO says, « and any tickets for this concert purchased directly from the BSO will be fully refunded. » Patrons who bought tickets from the organizer will most probably never acknowledge any reimbursement.
