On Thursday 53-year-old John Gawf Jr. was given one to two years behind bars. In July Gawf pleaded no contest to abuse of a vulnerable adult. Prosecutors say he took about $113,000 from Thelma Gawf from May 2015 to January. Gawf told an investigator that he used the money to gamble.
