The Fifth International Organ Competition Dudelange, Luxembourg, has been announced and will take place from 24 to 29 August 2015. Under the presidency of Bernhard Haas respectively Pierre Pincemaille, the Jury will judge performances in two categories, interpretation and improvisation. The competition will use the organs from St Michael’s Church in Luxembourg-City (Westenfelder, III, 25), St Martin’s Church, Dudelange (Stahlhuth-Jann, IV, 78), the Conservatory in Luxembourg (Westenfelder, III, 53) and the Philharmonie, Luxembourg (Karl Schuke, IV, 83).
During the competition master-classes will be held by the jury members in Luxembourg and Trier (Germany). Candidates should apply before 15 July (Interpretation) and 31 July (Improvisation). More information is available at www.orgue-dudelange.lu.
