After the dismissal of Darren K. Woods Finnish-born Tuomas Hiltunen has been named General Director of the Fort Worth Opera. At the same time, Joe Illick, who has been the company’s music director since 2002, is named Artistic Director.
Tuomas Hiltunen, 45, was director of administration and management of the international Barenboim-Said Foundation USA.
