Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Musicians voted Friday evening to reject their management’s latest contract offer but opted not to go out on strike. “The orchestra just voted on management’s last, best and final offer, and it was virtually unanimous in their rejection of that offer,” said Ken Krause, president of Local 72-147 of the American Federation of Musicians. “They voted down the contract that management claims it will implement on Monday, which remains to be seen. We’re calling on management to come back to the table and bargain a fair contract,” Krause said.
