Vivaldis Le Quattro Stagioni ist ein Werk, das viele Interpretationsansätze erlaubt. Die junge moldawische Geigerin Alexandra Conunova und ihr Ensemble nähern sich dem Evergreen des rothaarigen Priesters in einer weitgehend konventionellen Lesart, aber elegant, luftig, mit subtilen Nuancen und fröhlichen Farben. So entstand eine freimütige, mitunter auch sinnliche Interpretation mit ausgewogener Wirkung, die sich nicht allzu sehr um das Programm des Werkes kümmert, die reine Musik macht, mit keinem anderen Ehrgeiz als dem, zu unterhalten und zu gefallen.
Vivaldi’s Le Quattro Stagioni is a work that allows for many interpretative approaches. The young Moldavian violinist Alexandra Conunova and her ensemble come with a largely conventional reading, but it is elegant, light, with subtle nuances and cheerful colours. The result is an honest, a well-balanced and sometimes sensual interpretation, not too concerned with the programme of the work, making pure music with no other ambition than to entertain and please.
